What is Cedar Sinai Park?
Cedar Sinai Park is a comprehensive provider of housing and care services for elders and the infirm. We provide a full continuum of care on our 27-acre campus in SW Portland. Our continuum includes: assisted living and independent housing provided at the Rose Schnitzer Manor and Skilled, Intermediate and Residential care provided at the Robison Jewish Health Center. In addition, Adult Day Services are provided in a separate wing of the Robison facility.
How are you funded?
Cedar Sinai Park is a not-for-profit organization that was created by Portland’s Jewish Community. We receive some funding through the
Jewish Federation of Greater Portland
and through charitable contributions. Resident fees and insurance as well as Medicare and Medicaid are all part of the complex funding of our organization. You can also
make a donation
online.
Do I have to be Jewish People to receive your services?
All faiths are welcome at Cedar Sinai Park.
Are meals included?
All food served by Cedar Sinai Park is Kosher. All residents receive three meals.
Where is your campus located?
We are located in SW Portland off of Beaverton Hillsdale Highway & SW 62nd. Two blocks east of Scholls Ferry Road. Our facilities Rose Schnitzer Manor and Robison Jewish Health Center are on opposite sides of SW Boundary St.

Is there a deposit required?
There is a required application fee of $1,500 for all permanent residents at Cedar Sinai Park. That fee is refundable if the application does not result in a move in.
The Rose Schnitzer Manor requires a security/cleaning deposit of $350 to $500 depending on the size of the apartment.
Is there a lease required?
There are no leases required.
What kind of activities are offered?
In-house activities include a wide variety of arts & crafts programs (ceramics, painting, beading, etc.). Also in house are lectures, current events, and discussion groups. Book clubs, walking group and many musical performances. Group outings to scenic sites, restaurants, concerts and lectures are offered on a regular basis.

Rose Schnitzer Manor
What is Rose Schnitzer Manor?
Rose Schnitzer Manor is an assisted and independent living facility with 161 apartments.
What does Rose Schnitzer Manor rent include?
It includes three meals a day, all utilities except phone, house cleaning once a week, and satellite dish TV.
What are the types of apartments?
The apartments include studios, one bedroom, and two bedroom.
Are the apartments furnished?
The apartments are unfurnished. Carpets, blinds, refrigerator and microwave are provided.
Are guest apartments available for visitors?
Based on availability a furnished apartment can be provided. Please inquire.
Is transportation provided for Rose Schnitzer Manor residents?
Organized trips to local stores, malls, MJCC as well as to public events are offered. Transportation to medical appointments is provided three times a week within a five mile radios.
What Health Services are available at Rose Schnitzer Manor?
A trained staff offers assistance with showers, medication administration, escorting to meals and activities. Also with dressing, grooming and other wide range of services.
Robison Jewish Health Center
What is Robison Jewish Health Center?
Robison Jewish Health Center is an 88 bed skilled and intermediate care nursing facility that also includes a secure memory support unit and a 32 bed Residential Care unit.
What services are offered at Robison?
In addition to the medical services ordered by physicians we offer support for activities of daily living, a full recreational service program, rehabilitation services and a variety of amenities such as hair salon.
Are there ancillary charges for health care at Robison Jewish Health Center?
No. Daily rates include care expenses, hygiene items, durable medical equipment and other daily necessities. Items used are not charged individually.
Do you have to change beds when moving from skilled to intermediate care?
No. All nursing unit beds are certified for both skilled and intermediate care.
CSP Adult Day Services
What is CSP Adult Day Services?
A program to provide as much as a full day of care for functionally and/or cognitively impaired adults who return to their own homes or another community setting after the day is done.
What days and times is CSP Adult Day Services open?
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The program is closed for major American Holidays.
Where is CSP Adult Day Services located?
Our wing is located at the eastern end of the Robison Jewish Health Center and has its own entrance through our secure courtyard.
